Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Clonmel are holding a fund-raising Bag Pack at Dunnes Stores, Clonmel on Friday, 5th and Saturday, 6th October. The Society are looking for volunteers who could give an hour or two on either day to help. Please ring 052-5123878 with name and contact number and when available. A rota will be completed and each person will be contacted with the details.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is held in Ss Peter and Paul’s Church every Friday from 11 am to 1 pm.
Clonmel Area Parishes
A Social Evening with Dinner, Cabaret and Dancing will be held in Hotel Minella on Friday, 26th October. Tickets cost €25.
Craft Circle
The Craft Circle meets in the library on the first Tuesday of every month between 10 am and 12 noon. All those interested are welcome to come and exchange ideas.
Parish Meeting
A Parish Council meeting will be held on Monday, 24th September in 22, Gladstone Street at 7.30 pm.
Renovations
We are most grateful for the generosity of so many parishioners who have donated €136,695 towards the renovation of our Church. The total cost of the renovations €875,000, the loan is €500,000 and the balance to pay is €363,305 Last week donations of €250, €50, €20, €16 and €5 were received. Thank You.
Mass in Cemetery
The Annual Mass in St. Patrick’s Cemetery will be celebrated on Thursday, 29th November at 11am.
Anam Cara
Anam Cara is a national voluntary organisation that provides bereavement support to parents after the death of their son or daughter. All on-line and face to face services are offered free of charge for as long as parents may need them. To raise funds to deliver these services, Anam Cara is organising a national bag pack on Saturday, 3rd November. Would you consider helping us out? Clonmel Knitting Circle
The Knitting Circle, Clonmel, meets each Tuesday morning at the Resource Centre, Kickham Street and knit for babies and children.
Active Retirement Association
There will be no meeting on Thursday, 20th - Annual Holiday. The wiill be no meeting on Thursday, 27th - day trip. The bus leaves Oakville at 12 noon.
Clonmel and District Soroptimists
The Soroptimists will hold their annual Book Sale in aid of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Market Square on Thursday, 20th and Friday, 21st September from 10am to 6pm. There will be books galore at very attractive price so please come and support a worthy cause.
Autumn Collection
The Autumn Collection for the Priests of the Parish will be taken up on Saturday and Sunday, 29th and 30th September. For those involved in the distribution of envelopes please note they are now available in the Parish Book Shop.
