It was very productive meeting with a reasonably good attendance.

Carrick Swan Club officers recently met with County GAA board officials to commence a club programme to formulate a strategic 5 year plan.

The Club invites all its supporters to a Club Planning Workshop on Friday night in the Swan Juvenile Centre
at 8pm.

The workshop is an open meeting for all with an interest in Carrick Swan. It is hoped ideas will be formulated at the workshop into a strategic plan that will set goals and the direction for the club over the next 5 years.

It will cover topics such as coaching and games, development, structures and administration, finance and fundraising, PR and communications, grounds and facilities.

Swan Club members and supporters input is needed to shape the Club’s future and they invited to participate.

A medals presentation ceremony for all the Club’s young boys and girls will take place on Friday in the Swan Club Juvenile Centre at 6.30pm in advance of the planning workshop. Parents and family members are welcome to attend.

The U-10 hurlers entertained a visiting Tramore team last Sunday on The Green. Both sets of players displayed great skills and provided much entertainment for those in attendance.

Numbers drawn in last week’s juvenile lotto draw were 10, 12, 16 and 28.

There wasn’t any winner of the €€E2,250 jackpot prize and six players matched three numbers to win €40 each.

Carrick Swan Club thanks all those who continue to play the lotto and reminds those who might like to join that weekly entry cost €€E2 and this can be paid to any committee member or to any of the lotto promoters, who will call to collect each week. This week’s jackpot prize is €E2,500.

The public’s continued support for this draw helps the Swan Club provide for all its juvenile players and is very much appreciated.

A new range of Carrick Swan leisure and training wear is now available for order. Items available can be seen and ordered on Friday evening in the juvenile centre at 6.30 p.m.

Orders must be placed now for delivery before Christmas.

Carrick Swan club extends its sympathy to the families of the late Tom Briody, Tinhalla and Terry Power. St Molleran’s and England, who died during the week.
