Ballylynch Regeneration

The latest phase of Carrick-on-Suir’s Ballylynch Regeneration Scheme is on target to be finished in July, the Town Council’s July meeting was informed.

Independent Cllr Richie O’Neill requested an update on the progress of the revamp of the Mountain View neighbourhood and was informed by Town Clerk Michael O’Brien that the Council was very happy with the progress of the work. “We are very confident we will be finished on schedule,” he said.

The €2m regeneration scheme was originally scheduled to finish last summer but building work stopped abruptly in April last year when the contractor Atlantic Developments went into receivership. The project is being completed by Rosecrea-based DPS Construction.
