Official opening of new club house
Sunday, May 20, marked the official opening and blessing of our new dressing room facilities. The day was marked by speeches from our club chairman Michael Hanly, the west Chairman Roger Kennedy, the vice-chairman Michael Bourke with the official opening performed by the chairman of the Tipperary county board, Sean Nugent. This was followed by Mass and Sean Treacys U15’s rounded off a great day by defeating Clonakenny on a scoreline of 1-16 to 4-04, the captain Brian Carey received the trophy.
Our thanks to all those who helped out on the day.
West Intermediate Hurling Championship
We defeated Arravale Rovers in the first round of the west intermediate championship on a scoreline of 1-14 to 0-13.
Team: Seamus Butler, Donncha O’Brien, Paul Shanahan, Declan Hickey, Denis Stapleton, Sean Kennedy, Joey Ryan, Tom Hickey, Seamus Carey, Jody Ryan, John Berkery, Sean Ryan, Tom Ryan, Paudie Ryan, Liam Nolan. Sub used: Ger O’Toole.
County Intermediate Hurling League
We are scheduled to play St Marys in Clonmel Sportsfield on Friday, May 25, at 7.30pm.
Junior Football
Our first game in championship is against Rosegreen on Saturday, May 26, at 7.15pm.
Insurance
Insurance and membership is now due and payable to Liam Nolan. The price is €E50 for working adults, otherwise €E25 including students. Membership for non-players is €E10.

U-12 Football:
The U-12 footballers played in the shield semi final last and came up against a stronger Arravale Rovers team who were deserving winners.
