will hold its annual summer camp at Henebry park from August 7 to August 10, from 10am to 2 pm, for boys/girls from six to 14, €30 per child early booking advised, contact Grainne McCarthy at 086 8985152.

will take place on Sunday, August 5. Names to Catherine O’Neill or Michael Cummins. Fare: €20 per adult, €10 per child. Bus leaving Galbally at 7.30am.

CLUB CEOIL

an evening of music, song and dance, in the Glen of Aherlow every Thursday for the summer, from 8.30pm to 10.30pm each night. Free admission, everybody is welcome to attend or to participate. Different venue every week. On Thursday, August 2, Club Ceoil is in Moroney’s Pub, Lisvarrinane.

BINGO

There was a big crowd at Bingo in Galbally Community Centre on Wednesday, July 25. It was great to see new and familiar faces.

Galbally Playground Committee would like to thank all who came and thanks to those who helped on the night. The next bingo game will take place in Galbally Community Centre on Wednesday, August 8, at 8.30pm. Jackpot of €300 must go on the night. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

GAA

Next Sunday, August 5, is the third round of the Senior Hurling County Championship. Garryspillane face Patrickswell in this fixture at 2pm. All support would be appreciated. The senior football team qualified for the south final with a good win over Hospital/ Herberstown.
