Lattin Cullen



Sunday, January 6, at 2pm Tipperary Senior Hurlers play their first match of the year under the new management of Eamonn O’Shea, in Emly. The opposition will be U.C.C., winners of last year’s Fitzgibbon Cup, who will include many county players in their squad. All proceeds in aid of Emly National School Building Fund.


Cullen-Lattin soccer club will host its annual New Year Party in Ballykisteen Hotel on Sunday, January 30. Music will be by Reverse the Hearse and a DJ. Finger food will be served and some great prizes can be won. Tickets €15 from any committee member.


Cullen-Lattin B team were defeated by 4 -1 in last Sunday’s rescheduled Peter O’Reilly Cup fixture away to Redmondstown, Clonmel. The Cullen goal was scored from the penalty spot by Chris Power. The Fourth Division Shield final against St Kieran’s will take place after Christmas.


Mary Jo Hefffernan wishes to thank all those who supported the recent coffee morning and cake sale in the Canon Ryan Memorial Hall, Lattin. All proceeds raised, €2,306, were presented to South Tipperary Hospice.


At a recent meeting of Lattin/Cullen G.A.A. Club a vote of sympathy was passed to Eileen Murray and family on the recent death of her sister. R.I.P.

Ladies A.G.M - Congrats to Danny O’Farrell the newly appointed chairperson and also to Anmarie O’Dwyer, the new secretary. Best of luck to them in 2013. Thanks to Margaret Russell for attending County Board meetings for the year gone by and wishing her the best as secretary of the Senior Board from all the Ladies Committee.
