Under 21 Hurling County Semi Final: Friday July 22 at 7:30pm -Emly V Carrick Davins in Cahir

Minor Hurling: Our minors received two walkovers last week from Galtee Rovers & Lattin/Aherlow. They will have played Eire Og on Wednesday, July 20.

Junior B Football: Pallasgreen defeated Emly in an exciting contest in the final of the Pallas Junior Football Tournament on a score of 1:07 to 7 points.

The floral displays in and around the village are being much admired. Thanks to all for their efforts. Can we once again however, appeal to owners to keep their dogs under control as much damage is being done to flower beds.


Trocaire are appealing for help for famine victims in Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya. The crisis has been caused by a two year drought in this region. Over 12 million people are at immediate risk. A collection for this cause will be taken up at all Masses next Sunday.


As the courts are now very busy in the evenings this week’s junior tournament will take place on Tuesday evening. The days may change weekly so watch these notes. Tennis for beginners will continue each Friday eve 6pm to 7pm. Club hoodies and t-shirts are now on sale. Contact any member of the committee.
