Fundraiser thanks

The Abbey Tavern was the venue for the fundraiser on Saturday, December 3. The night was organised by Cathleen Burke. Seanie Lonergan and John Orme helped out on the night. The Irish Wheelchair Society would like to thank all who supported the event, thanks also to Bridie and

John for the venue and the food, the amount realised on the night was almost E900.

Public Meeting

Mattie McGrath TD is organising a Public Meeting for all householders in relation to the government’s proposed septic tank and associated charges in the Community Centre, Ballyporeen on Monday, December 12, at 8.15pm. All are welcome.

Christmas Fair

Ballydrehid National School’s Christmas Fair will be held at the school on Sunday, December 11, from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. All are welcome.

Cahir Credit Union Limited 43rd. Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 14, at Cahir House Hotel, at 8 p.m.

Cahir Comhairle Ceanntair Fianna Fail

Cahir Comhairle Ceanntair Fianna Fáil will hold a meeting on Friday, December 9, in the Pure Drop Lounge, Ardfinnan (The Roundabout) at 8.30pm. All delegates are asked to attend.

Our process of party renewal continues with visits to all Cumainn in the Cahir Area alphabetically. Members and prospective members from the Ardfinnan area and surrounds are invited to attend and take part in our meeting! Any Cumann that has of yet to send back National Draw ticket stubs can do so by bringing them along with the money to the meeting on the night!
