Our 12 Footballers kept up their winning ways on Thursday night last with another well deserved win, this time against the Kickhams. Similar to their clash with Cashel KC it was touch and go right up to half time but went on to produce a big second half with a number of well placed goals and points to win on a score line of 6-10 to 2-4.

With one game remaining against Aherlow and already a place in the West semi finals secured, they have given themselves a big opportunity of making the West Final and participation in the County Premier Finals in Semple Stadium.

The Sologhead/Eire Og combination got their U14B Football West Championship off to a winning start on Thursday, April 12 in Annacarty with a seven point winning margin win over Rosegreen, 1-7 to 1-0.

Playing their part on the team captained by Sologhead’s Shane Farrell, also included James Dee, Christopher Irwin, Denis O’Shea, Ethan Cummins and Dylan Ryan.

Their next game is against Rockwell Rvs in New Inn on Thursday, May 3.

County Board Draw

The Tipperary County Board Draw for 2012/2013 is now being promoted by the club.

The County Draw is a great source of income for the every day running costs of the club and with 50% of all ticket sale returns going back to the club, we would hope all those who intend renewing their Draw membership and anyone wishing to join the draw would contact any of the draw promoters or Club officers during the coming weeks. The first draw will take place on Friday, May 18.

Car Draw

The winner of our Fund raising Car Draw will be picked this Sunday night, April 29, at a function at the Bit and Bridle, Limerick Junction.

The winner will receive a Toyota Corrola Saloon and every one is invited to come along and enjoy the night’s entertainment.
