We are delighted that our application for the renewal of the International Green Flag award has been successful. Over the past two years we have been working on the Energy theme while maintaining Litter and Waste Management. The committee would like to thank all the staff, particularly Mrs. Olive Heffernan, and the children for their commitment to the Green Schools programme. We would also like to thank the parents for their co-operation. The Green Schools Award ceremony will be held in Cork on May 17th. Congratulations to all.

Well done to the Senior quiz team of Eoghan Heffernan, David Hyland, Liam Moore and Jane Hyland who came second in the National Parents Council Table Quiz held in the Park Hotel last Sunday. This round was for all the schools in the county and our team finished just one point behind the winners. They now go on to represent Tipperary in the Munster final. Best of luck to them all.
