Tidy Towns are inviting you to participate in a project that supports communities to conserve natural resources. The main aim will be to reduce energy consumption in private households. TEA (Tipperary Energy Agency) based in the Craft Granary, Cahir, will track the reduction in energy use in households and support householders with local workshops. There is no cost to the householder in fact it will put money back in your pocket. Participating households will be supported by specially trained ‘Energy Masters.’ If you are interested there will be a brief meeting in to the Community Centre on Friday, November 30, at 6.30pm to find out more or contact 0527466589.

Last March O.U.R. Productions Ltd brought you ‘Dragons Den (Kind of)’ and ‘the XFactor(Kind of).’ The show raised over E4,000 for the Hospice, so we have decided to give it a lash again. A meeting is arranged for Thursday, November 22, at 8pm in the Community Centre. We are hoping to see the return of all those who took part or helped out and we welcome anyone else who might feel they have something to offer, on or off stage. O.U.R. Productions is voluntary, but have expenses to be paid, ie. printing, sound rigs, lighting rigs etc, so perhaps someone might like to come on board as a sponsor to help cover some of the expense.
