Moyle Rovers under 10 visited St Marys on Saturday 31st March. There was a very good turnout for our first match of the season, all players from backs, midfield to the forwards contributing to the win on Saturday against a tough opposition in St Mary’s. In goal was Aoibhe Browne doing well, with Megan Looby solid in defence, Grainne O’Donnell and Shauna Mitten playing well together to keep the back line cleared. Midfield was Alana Dowling, Aveen Kennedy and Makayala O’Donnell giving great supply to Nicole Delaney, Emer Mckeown, Tara McGrath, Mia Dowling and Grace O’Dwyer, the forwards showing great teamwork which resulted in many successful attempts at goal. Training is showing through in the skills of the team, as they have improved considerably from the first night of training. Thanks to all families and supporters on the day and trainers Catriona and Aine.
