In April Redking Taekwon-do’s annual competition took place in Cork. Congratulations to Cahir Redking members Felix Finke and Lisa Lonergan who both came first in the Sparring section.
Last week a black belt preparation class took place in Redking Cahir Taekwon-do. The class was taught by Ruairi O’Brien VI Degree Black Belt, head of Redking Taekwondo and Vice President of ITF Eireann.
Adam and Cillian Heeran and Stefan Wroblewski will be hoping to be Redking Cahir Taekwon-do’s first black belts.
In August Redking instructors Felix Finke, 3rd Degree, and Ruairi O’Brien, 6th Degree, travelled to Greece to take part in Master Vasilis Alexandris’ Taekwon-do Training camp. Members train in Cahir Community Hall on Saturday from 11am to 12noon. For info call 0872822595 or 0858459631. Normal training resumes Saturday, September 7.
