Bansha I.C.A. are holding a ‘Gathering’ and extend an invitation to all past members of the Guild to join us, for a relaxing evening on Wednesday, June 12, at 8pm in Nellies’ Bar.

Well done to our u14 footballers who retained their West a Football title with a fine win over Cashel last weekend. After a slow start we got down to business and led by 4-5 to 1-6 at the final whistle. In the county semi-final the lads accounted for North champions, Éire Óg Nenagh on Saturday so now we wish them all the best as they seek to reclaim a county title last won on the double in 1996 and 1997. Well done also to three of this panel, Shane Ryan, Jake Flannery and Tony Byron who featured on a West Tipp u14 squad that accounted for the North and Mid divisions on their way to a historic first Peadar Cummins Tournament success.

This Wednesday night our senior footballers take on Clonmel Óg in Round 3 of the County championship in Cahir. After a win over Éire Óg last time out we can approach this game in a positive frame of mind with a game against Cahir still to come.
