Swan U-16 team book their place in county final

Carrick Swan U-16 team reached the South A Final on Sunday when they defeated Moyle Rovers in a tough game in poor weather conditions.
The U-16 squad will meet the winners of the St Mary’s versus Ballingarry semi-final in the final.
The Club’s Intermediate footballers bowed out of their championship when they lost to Ballyporeen by 3 points defeated by three points in the semi-final on Sunday.
Two Swan U-9 teams competed in the Roanmore Charity Ground Hurling Blitz in Waterford last weekend. One team beat Sacred Heart of Waterford, Tramore and Tullogher/Rosbercon of Kilkenny while the other defeated Clonea, Kilmacud Crokes of Dublin and Ardmore.
Meanwhile, the Swan Club’s U-12 Camogie team play St Mary’s in the county final in The Ragg next Saturday at 11.30am.
