About Town

Easter Dawn Mass:

Easter Dawn Mass:

On Easter Sunday 24th April, the first Dawn Mass will be celebrated in Templemore Town Park at 5.30.a.m. This will be a morning of prayer, hope and celebration. The setting will be at the Lakeside which seems very appropriate, as Jesus spent much of his time at the lakeside in Galilee; there he taught, prayed, and from there he selected some of his disciples. Some may like to think of this as a pilgrimage experience; others might like to attend as a request for a special intention; others to be part of the group gathered in prayer to offer thanksgiving to the Risen Christ and others still may just like the novelty of getting up so early! Whatever your reason, come along and you can rest assured that the Risen Jesus will offer strength, hope and solidarity to all who gather.
