Community excitement as Minister set to open new Tipperary park this week

Carrig Tidy Towns Group has announced that Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht Dara Calleary TD will officially open the new Carrig Community Park on Friday, July 24 at 11.30am.

The new park represents a significant investment in the village and is the culmination of the vision, dedication and hard work of many members of the local community.

The development is set to provide a new focal point for Carrig, offering a space for recreation, play and community gatherings for residents of all ages for years to come.

Carrig Tidy Towns Group has invited the wider community to attend the opening ceremony and celebrate the completion of the new amenity.

Following the official opening by Minister Calleary, refreshments will be served in Carrig Community Hall, providing an opportunity for residents, volunteers and invited guests to come together.
