In a recent interview on US chat show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Nicola Coughlan discussed how people are upset she isn't British.
The 37-year-old Galway actress appear on the show in a royal blue suit before the latest episode of Bridgerton aired.
The actress rose to fame for her role as Clare in hit comedy series Derry girls and more recently for her role as Penelope Featherington in the Netflix period drama.

When asked: "Is it true people are disappointed when they learn you are not British?"
Coughlan replied: "Oh absolutely yes. They should be more excited because I am Irish. I am great craic."
