'Stop use immediately' - Tesco recalls kitchen item with nearly 5,000 products affected
The CCPC has urged customers to stop using the product and return it to Tesco for a refund
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has alerted customers across Ireland to a recall being carried out by Tesco Ireland with thousands of the same product affected.
The supermarket giant is carrying out a recall of Tesco Home F&F Home Glass Latte Mug.
Due to a manufacturing issue the glass mug may break during normal use, causing sharp fragments that can lead to cuts. If this occurs while the cup contains hot liquid this may cause burns.
The brand is Tesco Home F&F. The product bar code is 05057967613311. All batches are affected.
There are approximately 4,568 affected products in the Republic of Ireland, sold online and instore between September 2025 and August 2026 inclusive.
What to do:
Customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to any Tesco store for a refund. No receipt is required.
