Former Tipperary hurling captain Pádraic Maher stopped for a photo this afternoon beside the newly unveiled plaque dedicated to his brother, Ronan.
The plaque was unveiled last night during the homecoming of the Tipperary senior hurling team following their triumph over Cork in last weekend's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final.
Tipperary captain Ronan Maher was immortalised among his fellow Tipperary captains from Thurles Sarsfields during the ceremony, which saw his plaque mounted to the wall of victorious Thurles captains.
He shares space on the wall with Tipperary greats such as Jimmy Doyle, Tom Semple, Tony Wall, and his grand-uncle John Maher
