WOW: Tipperary firm ploughing ahead after launch of new farming AI assistant

Herdwatch, the Roscrea-based agri-tech company, has introduced Herdi, an artificial intelligence-powered assistant designed to simplify livestock management for farmers.

Launched on September 11, 2025, Herdi integrates seamlessly with the Herdwatch platform, allowing farmers to interact with their herd data through natural language queries.

Herdi aims to reduce the time farmers spend on record-keeping and enhance decision-making capabilities. By providing instant access to herd information. Supporting farmers in making informed choices regarding breeding, calving, and compliance.

Director of Product James Greevy says it’ll allow clients “instant access to all the relevant information about their livestock in a really easy-to-use way.”
