Rathkeevin Macra’s Queen of the Castle took place last weekend in Cahir .
The Queens arrived on the Friday morning, were interviewed and judged on Saturday night and both the interviews and judging took place in Cahir House Hotel and was accompanied by a disco on the Saturday Night until late.

There was a free family fun day on Sunday in the Inch Field that drew a great crowd. Cahir Youth Tidy Towns Group went all out along with Tipp Comhairle Na Nog Group who had storytelling, children’s games, races and the very popular Comhairle na nog Color Run on site on the day.
There was entertainment with local Bands and the Replacement’s and Loose Cannons too and food/beverage stalls on site too. Cahir Fire Service held races rolling up fire hoses and a chip pan fire demonstration.

The Queen of the Castle was crowned at the Coronation Banquet on Sunday Night. The 2025 Queen was announced at midnight and the winner was Kate Hurley from, Carbery, Cork, sponsored by Cork Marts,
