Appeals for donations continue to enable Tipperary community fund Christmas lights

Businesses in Cahir are urged to donate if they have not done so already

An appeal has been made for donations to be made to fund Christmas lights display in Cahir

As the Cahir Christmas lights campaign continues, the lights in Cahir are still shining brightly as the community enjoys the warm, festive feel they create.

The campaign organisers are very thankful to all the Cahir businesses who have donated so far and all those who have made personal donations so far and are hoping that businesses will continue to donate if they have not done so already.

"These donations make such a big difference and so we will continue to accept any donations for the next week or so. We are extremely thankful to Francis Doherty  and his crew from FD Electrical who have been out and about following the winds and have worked to make sure all remaining lights were in working order for Christmas season in Cahir. And we hope that everyone that hasn’t done so already will consider a small donation and give what they can towards the costs associated with them.

Please make a small donation to the go fund me appeal on https://www.gofundme.com/f/cahir-christmas-lights-appeal-2025 and share the campaign across social media. No amount is too small and a little from many will make a huge difference.
