An Garda Síochána Tipperary’s Roads Policing Unit today intercepted a car travelling at 156 km/h on the motorway.
The car was intercepted exceeding the speed limit by over 30km/h on the M8 in Cahir earlier today.

The driver, displaying novice plates on their car, was found to also have no insurance or NCT on their car.

The car was seized by gardaí, and a fine issued to the driver, with court to follow.
