Fundraiser announced for Tipperary community hall following weekend theft

The community of Cahir have come together to organise a fundraiser for their local community hall after a recent theft.
The people of Cahir have organised a fundraiser after granite wall tiles and paving materials were stolen from outside the local community hall over the weekend.
The materials, which had been stored within the fenced area at the front of the hall, were taken over the past weekend.
In response, the Cahir Development Association have now launched a major fundraising campaign to help replace the stolen materials.
The group are encouraging anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity around the Hall over the weekend to contact the development association or the Gardaí.
The group have estimated €150,000 in total must be raised to the local community hall.
As part of the fundraiser for the hall, Cahir Men’s Shed will be playing music at the Farmers' Market in Cahir Castle Car Park on Saturday 23 May from 11am until 1pm.
