Suir Blueway guided cycle from Carrick-on-Suir to Kilsheelan planned for Clancy Festival

A guided cycle from Ormond Castle in Carrick-on-Suir along the Suir Blueway to Gurteen de La Paor Castle in Kilsheelan will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, June 2. 

The cycle starts at 11am at Ormond Castle and is being organised by Carrick-on-Suir Lions Club as part of the community events for the Clancy Brothers Music & Arts Festival. 

It will be led by guide Brian White of Carrick-on-Suir Lions Club who will point out historic sites and provide information on local flora and fauna along the route.  Cyclists will pass through some beautiful scenery along the River Suir with stunning views of the Comeragh Mountains and Slievenamon in the distance. 

The cycle is restricted to 20 participants. To book contact Brian at (086) 833 4844. It costs €5 to take part.
