Swimmers gathering in the River Suir in Carrick for one of the Barry McCarthy Swim Races a few years ago
Carrick-on-Suir Triathlon Club will host its annual Barry McCarthy Memorial Charity Swims in the River Suir at Sean Healy Park in Carrick on Saturday, July 19 at 12.30pm.
The swim race distances are: 500m, 750m and 1,500m and registration from them will open at 11am on July 19. The event is an ideal training day for the swim section of the annual Carrick-on-Suir Triathlon.
Carrick Triathlon Club says there will be spot prizes awarded on the day and 100% of all proceeds will be donated to South Tipperary Hospice Movement.
