Liadhain O’Shea who plays Antonio in Carrick-on-Suir Musical Society's upcoming production of Man of La Mancha
Tickets for Carrick-on-Suir Musical Society's 2026 show - Man of La Mancha - will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, March 4.
Patrons of the Society have been able to avail of priority ticket booking since February 9.
Rehearsals for Man of La Mancha are in full swing at the Strand Theatre. The show will be staged at the Strand Theatre from March 22 to 28.
The hit show is being staged 30 years after Carrick Musical Society’s first production of the musical inspired by Cervantes’ famous novel Don Quixote.
Liam Butler, who played the lead role of Cervantes in the 1996 show, will play the role of the Innkeeper/Governor in this new production.

Neill Bourke takes on the role of Miguel de Cervantes (Don Quixote), Eoin Sheedy fills the shoes of Sancho Panza, Louise Russell plays Aldonza (Dulcinea), Ray Nolan plays Dr Sanson de Carrasco while Liadhain O’Shea plays Antonio.
Sandra Power is stepping into the role of the Housekeeper, Tobie Hickey plays the Padre, Caolán Deehy-Power plays the Barber, Bryanna Lima is the Innkeeper’s Wife and Jim Kennedy plays the Captain of the Inquisition.
The show is being directed by Andrew Holden and Fergal Carroll is the musical director. Claire O’Hara is the choreographer, Laura Cotter is the chorus mistress. Alan McCormack is over lighting and design, John O’Donoghue is in charge of set design and Padraig Sheehan is the production manager.
