Over €1,000 raised for Alzheimer’s Society at coffee morning in Tipperary

The event, organised by Councillor Declan Burgess, drew a fantastic crowd and raised over €1,200 in support of dementia care and family services.
A vibrant atmosphere filled Halla na Féile on the morning of May 2 as the local community in Tipperary came together for a Coffee Morning in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
The event, organised by Councillor Declan Burgess, drew a fantastic crowd and raised over €1,200 in support of dementia care and family services.
Attendees were delighted to welcome special guests Gemma O'Donnell, Dementia Advisor for South Tipperary, and Marguirite Keating, a dedicated advocate. Their insights and presence added greatly to the occasion.
The morning featured a generous spread of home-baked goods, all kindly donated by local supporters, and a strong sense of community spirit.
Cllr. Burgess extended heartfelt thanks to all who contributed, attended, or helped on the day.
The funds raised will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Society’s vital work in South Tipperary in providing care, support, and advocacy for people living with dementia and their families.
