Nearly €85,000 in 'badly needed' funding allocated by the Council to Tipperary road

Locals have expressed concern about Dean Ryan Terrace in Cashel for some time

The funding should help to improve the current surface of the road

As a result of the Department of Transport increasing its end of year allocation to Tipperary County Council, it has been proposed by the area engineers that an extra €84,600 will be spent on road improvements at Dean Ryan Terrace in Cashel.

Local councillor Liam Browne welcomed the news, saying that the funding "should make a significant improvement to the current surface".
