RIP: Tributes paid online to late Tipperary man who died unexpectedly

The death has occurred of Peter Paul ‘PP’ O'Dwyer, of Rossacrowe, Annacarty, Tipperary.

PP is formerly of Knockgorman, Donohill and late of PP O’Dwyer’s Hardware, Dundrum.

He died on December 27, unexpectedly at home.

He was predeceased by his parents Mick and Josie Mai and his brother Tom.

He is sadly missed by his dearly devoted and loving wife Nora (nee Arnold), sons Donal, Peter and Arnold, brothers John, Mike and Seamie, sister Mary, daughter-in-law Aoife, Peter’s partner Louise, granddaughters Ellie Mai and Hazel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Whites Funeral Home Cappawhite on Tuesday evening, December 30, from 3pm until 7pm.

Arriving in St Brigid’s Church Annacarty Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 12pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

PP’s death has sent waves of sadness throughout his local community, with one person saying: “Deepest sympathy to Nora Peter Arnold Donal seamie mike John Mary b and all the O'Dwyer family on the sad sudden passing of pp he will be greatly missed in the village thinking of you all at this sad time may his gentle soul rest in peace.”

Another said: “Nora, Peter, Arnold, Donal and the extended O'Dwyer family. My deepest sympathies to you all. What a man. Another legend gone. May heave be his bed.”

One person added: “Sicere sympties to Nora Donal Peter Arnold and extended ODwyer and Arnold families.on the sudden untimely passing of PP.a great character.many the enjoyable chats and good fun we had with him.he will be sadly missed.our thoughts and prayers are with ye at this very sad time.may his gentle soul rest in peace.”
