Over 400 people visited Tipperary Education and Training Board’s (ETB) Tipperary FET College Kickham Barracks Open Day in Clonmel on Thursday, 10 April.

People of all ages took the opportunity to get involved in guided tours which explored the campus. They also met with staff and students to learn about the various FET (Further Education and Training) courses and programs offered, and got the chance to ask questions about admission requirements, pathways and career opportunities.

400 goodie bags were handed out to visitors at an occasion which had an energetic atmosphere, helped by the presence of Tipp FM which broadcasted from the campus during the morning.
Further Education Coordinator at Tipperary FET College, Kathleen Grimes, said:

"We are delighted with the turnout and enthusiasm shown by everyone who attended. The Open Day highlighted the strength of our courses and the dedication of our staff. We look forward to welcoming many of today’s visitors as new students in the coming year."”

The Kickham Barracks Campus, with entrances off Dillon Street and Davis Road, is a central location for a wide range of interesting courses ranging from full time, part-time, certified and non-certified courses.
