Gardaí in Clonmel have offered an update on their investigation after a video depicting animal cruelty in Clonmel went viral recently.
A number of Tipperary animal rights groups continue to call for action since the video started circulating on social media earlier this week.
The 19-second video appears to show two boys beating a small horse in what is thought to be the Cashel Road are of Clonmel.

Gardaí said they are aware of the video in circulation, believed to have been taken on Sunday, May 11, and have searched "several acres of farmland" in the surrounding areas in recent days.
In a statement to the Tipperary Star, Gardaí confirmed that "investigations into a video that was recently posted to social media are currently ongoing".
The are urging members of the public with any information relating to the viral video to come forward immediately.
