Tipperary TD Mattie McGrath has criticised Uisce Eireann and addressed the recent supply issues to water that were experienced recently by those living in Clonmel.
"The experiment they are carrying out means they're playing Russian roulette with the water supply in Clonmel" said Deputy McGrath.
"They're taking the Glenary supply from the foothills, and they're disconnecting that.

"They're now expecting a small six inch pipe to supply the whole town, and I've been fighting this case with Irish Water for months."
McGrath warns that the experiment they are continuing to carry out with this water supply is 'unworkable' and would lead to further supply issues in the near future.
"The water supply also supplies the Hospital in Clonmel too" warned McGrath.

"I believe it can't work but Irish Water will not listen to the experts or public representatives like ourselves" he concluded.
