Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an incident of assault that took place in the Blueway Walk area of Clonmel, county Tipperary on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at approximately 7:30pm.
A man pushed another man, aged in his 70s, into water.
The male in his 70s received treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
Gardaí are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen a young male wearing a green t-shirt who then left the area in a dark coloured sulky.

Persons with mobile phone or dash-cam footage are also asked to make that footage available to investigating Gardaí.
