NEW: Clonmel Credit Union launches student bursary scheme worth  €12,000

Clonmel Credit Union has announced the launch of its €12,000 Student Bursary Award Scheme 2025, designed to support local Leaving Certificate students as they take the next step on their education journey.

Now in its second year, the scheme will award six bursaries of €2,000 each to qualifying students from local secondary schools who wish to pursue full-time third-level courses starting in autumn 2025.

Applicants must be enrolling in a full-time course of at least one year’s duration, with proof of application required.

A panel of independent adjudicators will select the six winners.

The bursary is open to eligible applicants through an online application process.

Each winner will receive a one-off payment of €2,000, lodged directly into their Clonmel Credit Union account.

Membership is open to anyone living or working within a 32km radius of the credit union.
