Hi and welcome to your weekly Irish phrases in association with Gaelscoil Chluain Meala.
The phrases are especially appropriate for Seachtain na Gaeilge, which runs from March 1-17.

We want to share some handy phrases with you, along with phonetic pronunciations to help you along.
We have focused on casual, “slang” phrases as opposed to the more formal phrases you may have learned in school.
We hope you enjoy them and more importantly, that you use them around the house and when you are out and about.
Don’t be shy. It’s your language too!
