Tipperary University Hospital is now implementing visitor restrictions until further notice to reduce the spread of Norovirus.
Visiting will only be permitted in exceptional circumstances by arrangement with the Clinical Nurse Manager/Nurse in Charge. Exceptions will be made by the Clinical Nurse Manager on the ward for End of Life patients and critically ill patients.

Hospital management and staff would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to patients and visitors. These measures are vital to avoid spreading Norovirus amongst the patients, visitors and staff and the hospital would like to thank the public for their co-operation and understanding at this time.
