Busy itinerary in Clonmel

On Culture Night September 19 there will be over 40 events  presented by imaginative and dedicated artists, cultural organisations, community groups and volunteers from all corners of Tipperary.

From theatre to music, visual arts, poetry, film, artistic workshops, guided tours and live performances, there is plenty to explore and something for all ages.

Clonmel offers a full programme, including Des Dillon Puppet Show at the new Abbey Street Performance Space at 5pm, Mystic Maureen and her Mysterious Companions at the Main Guard starting at 6:30pm, and Finding a Voice presenting music by harpist Muirne Griffin and a talk between composer Kathy Purcell and artistic director Roisin Maher at the Market Place in Emmet Street at 5:30pm.

Visit the Museum of Hidden History from 6pm onwards for an Ink writing workshop inspired by medieval manuscripts by Annie Hogg and share memories and spark conversation with facilitator Leisa Gray, using original and replica objects themed around pastimes and hearth and home.
