A valuable Tecna rock breaker was brazenly stolen in broad daylight last Friday evening, June 6, from a work site on the Clonmel Road just outside Rosegreen.
At approximately 5:10pm, two unidentified males were seen lifting the heavy attachment—used on a three-ton machine—into the back of a silver 192 Cork-registered Mitsubishi Outlander.
The theft occurred right outside a customer's premises.
The owner is now appealing to the public for help: "If you were driving this road at the time, or if you've seen this breaker (pictured below) for sale or been offered it, please contact Cashel Garda Station or myself directly on 086 2574631. Any information, no matter how small, could help."
The stolen equipment is not only expensive but essential for the business' operations. The public is being asked to share this appeal widely and help make the stolen gear "too hot to handle".
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
