Gardaí from the Clare Tipperary Crime Functional area in Cahir, supported by members from the Regional Dog Unit and other Regional Units conducted a search and arrest operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the region on Wednesday 2nd July 2025.
As part of the operation searches were carried out at five premises in Co Tipperary and Co Cork. Cannabis to the value of €10,000 was seized, along with cocaine to the value of €300 and cash exceeding €5,000. A number of other items and drug paraphernalia were also seized.
The drugs seized will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.

A man in his 20s was arrested and conveyed to a Garda Station in Co. Tipperary. He is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Investigations are ongoing.
