31-year-old Sean Harding appeared in Thurles District Court via video link from Limerick Prison on Wednesday morning September 17.
This was following his appearance at Nenagh District Court earlier in the week on Monday September 15, where he was charged with three counts of burglary as well as one count of assault causing harm.
The defendant's arrest was made as part of the investigation into the assault on retired bus driver Teddy Murnane (80s) last Friday.

Gardaí issued a statement to say that Mr Murnane passed in University Hospital Limerick on Monday morning, September 15.
Appearing in court on Wednesday morning, Judge Adrian Harris ruled that Mr Harding's case would be adjourned to the following Wednesday, September 24 in Tipperary Town.
Sean Harding will once again attend via video link to this hearing.
