The death has occurred of Hanora (Noreen) Griffin (nee Brilley)

86 Ard Coillte, Ballina, Co Tipperary.

Formerly of Springdale, Raheen Co Limerick and Killoran Terrace Limerick City.

Late of Kelly’s Silo, Gerry Hayes & Co, C&M Vetlink and Busy Bee Florist Lower Gerald Griffin St.

August 4, 2025 at Milford Hospice. Pre deceased by her parents James (Jerry), and Mary and her brother Ger. Deeply regretted by her husband John, son James, sister Maura, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family & friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport on Friday, August 8, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving on Saturday, August 9, in Our Lady and St Lua Church, Ballina for Requiem Mass at 11:30am which can be viewed on www.churchcamlive.ie/ballina-boher-parish, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private.

Loughisle House, Bawn, Nenagh and late of Loughisle, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co Tipperary, August 4, 2025.

Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Milford Care Centre, and by her amazing children, father and cousins.

Predeceased by her beloved mother Josephine, aunts Bridget and Kitty.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughter's Judy and Kara, her precious son Fionn and her father Michael. Deeply regretted by her aunt Mary, Judy’s fiancé Daniel Gleeson, Kara’s partner Euan Dunne and Fionn’s partner Caroline Shanahan, precious cousins, special friend Orla (Ryan) and Joe, Deirdre, Colm and Anne Mulqueen, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon on Wednesday, August 6, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm

Funeral arriving to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Silvermines on Thursday, August 7, for Requiem Mass at 12pm.

Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Kilcommon.

Jim Dalton

The sudden death has occurred of the late Jim Dalton 25 Clairín, Carrick-on-Suir, and formerly Boolyglass, Hugginstown, Kilkenny. Jim passed suddenly on 3rd of August surrounded by his loving family in University Hospital Waterford. Predeceased by his parents Jamesie & Ellie and his infant son Eamon. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Eileen, his children Elaine, Gemma (Mackey), Diane, James, Son in-law Peter and Daughter in-law Dee, his seven adored grandchildren, Amy, Renée, Caragh, Jack, Eoin, Tegan, Franky and greatgrandson Ali. His brothers Larry & Tom, sisters Mary (Taylor), Margaret (Bradley), Helen (Cahill), Catherine (Griffin), Anne (Healy), Bridget, Joan (Gaule), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. nephews, nieces, extended Family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Jim will be reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home, New Street, Carrick-on-Suir on Wednesday, August 6, from 5pm to 7pm. Jim will be arriving at St Nicholas church on Thursday, August 7, for requiem mass on arrival at 10:30am followed by burial in Faugheen cemetery.

Margaret Dwyer (formerly Flood)

Formerly Littleton, Co Tipperary.

Peacefully, on August 4, in the wonderful care of the staff of Kerlogue Nursing Home and surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Martin and Ellen Dwyer, her brother Tommy and sisters Johanna and Anne.

Dearly loved and sadly missed by her daughters Sarah and Aileen, son-in-law Patrick, grandchildren Karina, Emma, Jack, Patrick, Ella and Kate, sisters Mary, Eileen, Kathleen, Betty and Teresa, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Macken's Funeral Home, Distillery Road, Wexford, Y35HP29 on Wednesday, August 6, from 3pm until 6pm.

Removal shall take place on Thursday morning, August 7, to St Ibar's Church, Castlebridge for Funeral Mass at 12pm, followed by burial afterwards in St Ibar's Cemetery, Castlebridge. For those who may like to join the Funeral Mass online, please use the following link - Margaret's Funeral Mass.
