James (Jim) Ruth

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James (Jim) Ruth, Honeyview Estate, Clonmel, Co.Tipperary, 11th October 2025. Jim passed away peacefully in the tender care of the staff at Sonas Melview Nursing Home, Clonmel on Saturday afternoon with his devoted family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Kevin and Nancy, brother Tom, sister Anne, nephews Kieran and Damian.

Sadly missed and never to be forgotten by his loving wife Geraldine, his treasured daughters Andrea and Jayne, his adored grandchildren Hugh, Rory, Sarah and Clara, sons-in-law Robert (Houlihan) and Patrick (Larkin), brothers Michael, Kevin, Pat and John, sister Aileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his many great neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Fennessy's Funeral Home, Kickham Street this Tuesday evening from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock with removal to St.Olivers church on Wednesday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by interment in St.Patrick's cemetery.

Ann Hough nee Reid Castlesheppard Ballingarry, Roscrea,Co.Tipperary died 12th of Oct 2025 peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Milford Hospice Limerick. Predeceased by her brother Flannan.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband Michael,son Jason,daughter Caroline,son in law Mark,daughter in law Yuki, brothers Henry, Noel and Jack, sisters Marie, Phyllis, Josie, Geraldine and Mary (Bunny), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Adam, Ryan, Jack and Vivian, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing on Tuesday in Treacys Funeral Home, Shinrone (R42E125) from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Private removal on Wednesday to St.Patrick's Church the Pike, Ballingarry, Roscrea (E53 H771) for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please donations if desired in lieu of flowers to Milford Hospice Limerick.

The family would like to thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time.

Turtulla, Thurles, and formerly Kilnadeema, Loughrea, Co. Galway. Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Muiris, her parents Vincent and Kate, sisters Nóra, Mary, Kathleen, Philomena and Bernadette, brothers Paddy, Frank, Danny, Bunny and Kieran. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons Muiris and Dónall, daughters Cáit and Bríd, grandchildren Conor, Brendan, Sorcha, Meadhbh, Ronin and River, daughters-in-law Diana and Virginia, sons-in-law Oliver and Larry, sisters-in-law Máirín and Treasa, former teaching colleagues, great neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Wednesday 15th October from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Thursday 16th October at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles.

John Lahert, Clashduff, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co Tipperary, peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Bridie Lahert.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret (Peg) , daughter Ann-Marie and son-in-law Patrick Raleigh, sisters-in-law Mary Gaine, Eileen Frewen and Nancy O'Mullane,, relatives and extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Dermot Ronan's Funeral Home, Ballingarry on Wednesday (Oct15th) from 5pm to 7.30pm. Removal on Thursday to The Church Of The Assumption, Ballingarry for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Liam Dwan

Liam Dwan, Glenbane, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Died 13th October 2025, peacefully surrounded by his family, in the care of St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his parents Rody and Bridget, brother Rodgie and his wife Eileen, sister Mai and her husband Francis. Forever remembered and sadly missed by his wife Norah (née Spillane), sons and daughters Paddy, Stephen, Breda, Billy, Siobhan, David, Anne, Marie and Frankie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Formerly of Kilshanna, Mitchlestown. Suddenly at home, Margaret (Mag), Predeceased by her parents Mary and Michael, her husband Johnny, her sisters Mary and Bridget and her brother David. Sadly missed by her loving sons John, Michael and Gerard, Daughters in-law Sharon and Fiona, her grandchildren, Sharon, Scott, Josh, Rhiannon, Eve and Caolain, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces Christina, Fiona and Mary and nephews Kevin and Michael,relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at The Church of our Lady of the Assumption, Burncourt, on Thursday 16th of October from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 17th October at 11:30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
