William (Bill) Bailey

William (Bill) Bailey, Drumroe, Ballyporeen, Cahir, Co. Tipperary and formally Shanballymore, Mallow, Co. Cork.

William (Bill) on 9th December 2025 passed away peacefully at Waterford Regional Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Catherine and his brother Francis.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

Reposing in Ballyporeen Community Centre on Thursday 11th of December from 5pm to 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning in the Church of the Assumption, Ballyporeen at 11am followed by burial in St Mary's cemetery.

 

Donal Byrne

Donal Byrne, 8 Hawthorn Walk, Parc na Gowan, Kilkenny.

Formerly of Tullamaine, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and The Islands, Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary.

 

Peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, 9th December 2025.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents Liam and Mary, his sister Marie, his brothers Liam Jnr., Andrew and Joseph (Joe) and his nephew Paddy.

 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his daughter Anne-Marie, his grandchildren Calum and Eamon, his brothers Eddie, Michael and Oliver, his sisters Frances (Wheeler), Lily (Lyng), Bernadette (Murphy) and Ena (Collins), aunts Ena Dunne and Sister Martina Fox, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Thursday, 11th December from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm.

 

Funeral Prayers on Friday morning, 12th December at 10.15am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Requiem Mass at 11am.

 

Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.

Joseph (Joe) King

The death has occurred of (Joseph) Joe King, Derrycastle, Ballina, Co. Tipperary age 86; peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family (9th of December 2025). Predeceased by his wife Evelyn, parents Tom and Sarah, sisters Nancy, Theresa and Helen, and brother Michael. Sadly, missed by loving family Madeleine, Joseph, Jason, Robert, Johanne and Peter. Brothers Tony, Tommy and Noel, sister Angela. Grandchildren Kieran, Ronan, Ellie, Sadie, Nancy, Sadhbh, Aoibhinn, Klaudija and Mason. Daughters in law Chris, Ciara, Mairead and Simona, sisters-in-law Patsy, Breege, Bernie and Rita, brothers-in-law Jim and Sean, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Lynch’s Funeral Home Killaloe on Friday the 12th of December at 6pm to 8pm. Funeral will arrive to The Church of Our Lady and St. Lua Ballina on Saturday the 13th for 11:30am funeral mass, which can be viewed via this link churchcamlive.ie/ballina-boher-parish/ , burial afterwards in Castletown Cemetery.

KINGSTON, – Aherlow, Tipperary & formerly Kingston’s Shoes, Main Street, Tipperary Town – 10th December 2025 – peacefully after a long illness borne with great dignity & courage - BILLY – (pre-deceased recently by his beloved wife Margaret) - Deeply regretted by his loving sons David & Ken, daughters-in-law Diane & Emma, grand-children Craig, Alex & Charlie, brother Sam, sister Betty, sister-in-law Betty, nephew Myles, nieces Sue & Janet, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Margaret Maher
(née Carroll)

Margaret Maher (Nee Carroll) The Orchard, Shanakill, and late of Killahagan, Drom, Templemore, Co. Tipperary, 10th of December 2025, unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family.

predeceased by her beloved husband James and parents Patrick and Catherine, brothers Gerry, Jim, Paddy and Michael, sisters Bab and Annie.

 

Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Catherine, son Tim, brother-in-law Lar, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

 

 

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore (e41 tr83) this Friday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in the Church of the Sacred Heart Templemore. Interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Templemore afterwards.

Joe McCarthy (Tinnahinch, Cappawhite, Co. Tipperary) December 10th 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of Roseville House Nursing Home, Killonan. Predeceased by his wife Maura, daughter Kathleen Butler, brothers and sisters.

 

Sadly missed by his loving sons John, Mark and Joseph, sisters Sr. Kathleen (Presentation Convent, Clonmel) and Bernadette Collins (Cork), brother Denis (Bishopswood), son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchild Charlie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Seamus O'Donoghue

Seamus O` Donoghue, 6 Brosna View, Kilbeggan and formerly of The Glen of Aherlow, Co. Tipperary. Seamus passed peacefully at the Regional Hospital, Tullamore on December the 10th 2025, with his loving family by his side. Husband of the late Lucy. Beloved and cherished dad of Susan, Bridget, Catherine, Gary, Sean and Patrick, much loved by his grandchildren and his great-grandchild also his daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
