(née Murphy)

The death has occurred of Esther English (nee Murphy) Derrygrath Cahir in her 98th year peacefully at her residence on the 17th December 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jim, she will be deeply missed by her beloved children Pat, Helen and Maureen, her cherished grandchildren Susan, Gillian, Orla and Conor sons-in-law Joe and Johnny, Mary Brophy, nieces nephews neighbours and many friends.

May she rest in peace

Reposing at Costigan's funeral Home Cahir this Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Arriving at St Nicholas Church Grange on Saturday morning for 11am Mass followed by burial in Derrygrath Cemetery.

Mary O'Dwyer

O’Dwyer (née Shanahan) Mary, (Kilnamanagh and late of Moycarkey, Thurles) passed peacefully on December 17th 2025, surrounded by her family.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Eddie, her sisters Sally and Eileen and her brother John.

Loving Mum to Jo, Helen and Liam. Mary will be sadly missed and always remembered by her loving family, her sisters Margaret and Statia, sons-in-law John and Tommy, daughter-in-law Annemarie, her much loved and cherished grandchildren, Laura, Kevin, Hannah, Emma, Matthew, Sophie, Ryan and Callum, her wonderful great-grandchild Ruby, nieces, nephews, her wide circle of friends and her neighbours.

 

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Tallaght Village on Friday (19th December) from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday (20th December) at 11am in St Kevin’s Church, Kilnamanagh, following onto Mount Venus Cemetery.
