(née Carew)

TAYLOR, Margaret (Clonmel and formerly of Synone, Boherlahan, Co. Tipperary). It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Taylor (née Carew). Margaret passed away peacefully in her sleep on 22nd January 2026. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary, and her sisters Pauline, Joan and Martina. Sadly missed by her sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, relatives and her many Bingo friends.

Margaret’s Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday 29th January in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Boherlahan at 11.30am followed by a burial in Ardmayle Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to the “Irish Heart Foundation”.

(née Ryan)

Patricia (Pat) Bannon née Ryan, New Park Portlaoise and formerly Roscrea. Died 24th of January 2026 suddenly but peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by her loving family. Reunited with her beloved husband Christy and sister Margaret. Mourned by her devastated family, children Christopher, Elaine and Noel, daughters-in-law Claudia and Donna, grandchildren Luke, Aoibhinn, Áine, Ruairí, Aimee and great granddaughter Fíadh, brothers Jim and PJ, sister Anne, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and wide circle of friends.

Pat passed away peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital

Predeceased by his wife Stella, parents Thomas and Elizabeth, granddaughter Ava and his brothers Brian and Thomas. Pat will be very sadly missed by his loving family Libby, Pat, Jenny and Caroline, sisters Maureen, Carmel and Rita, sons in law Declan and Damian, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brothers in law, sisters in law, extended family, neighbours and good friends.

Reposing at Costigan’s Funeral Home Cahir on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral arriving to St. Mary’s Church Cahir on Wednesday morning for Requiem Mass at 10.30am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Michael Cahill, Belleville, The Abbey, Templemore, Co. Tipperary, 24th of January 2026.

Surrounded by his loving family, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at the Mater Private Hospital following a short illness.

Beloved husband of Kathleen, loving father of Fiona (Gillis), Kevin, Catherine (Burke) and Michael.

Cherished grandchildren Sarah, Leo, Charlie, Joe, Emma, Cian, Shane and Cillian, daughters in law Aileen and Elaine, sons in law Andrew and Aidan, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brothers in law, neighbours and friends.

Mass for Linda will take place in St. Michael's Church, Tipperary on Wednesday January 28th 2026 at 12noon and burial afterwards in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tipperary Town.

Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital,

surrounded by her loving family.

 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, their son John, her sisters Sarah and Bridie and her brothers Stephen, John, Mike and Tom. Dearly loved and sadly missed by her daughters: Mairead, Nora, Niamh, Rosemary, Geraldine, Mary and Anne Marie, sons-in-law Padraic, Seán, Jim, David, Paraic and Dominic, her grandchildren: Martin, Steven, Niamh, Ruth, Nicola, Laura, Rachel, Seán, Lisa, Colin, Tom, Nicholas, Alexander, Eoin and Conor, her great-grandchildren: Óisín, Tiernan, Kiyah and Rían - whom she loved so dearly - her nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Gretta will repose at Coen's Funeral Home, The Square, Tubbercurry (F91 P668) on Monday, 26th January, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with removal to St. Patrick's Church, Moylough, arriving for Prayer Service at 8 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday, 27th January, at 12 noon with her burial thereafter in Rhue Cemetery.

 

House is private, please.
