Martin Moynihan

Martin Moynihan, Moyne Village, Thurles and formerly Milestone, Upperchurch, Co. Tipperary. Unexpectedly at home. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Noel and Michael. Deeply regretted by his loving family, wife Geraldine (née Redmond) daughters Margaret and her partner Jason, Martina and her partner Gearoid, grandchildren Paddy, Sean and Clodagh, sisters Marian, Eileen, Claire, Edel and Patricia, brothers Sean, Paddy, Paul, Gerard, Tom and David, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

 

May He Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday 6th February from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Upperchurch on Saturday 7th February at 11am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Upperchurch Cemetery.

Tommy Keane

The death has occurred of Tommy Keane, McDonagh Terrace, Littleton and formerly Glenreigh, Holycross, Thurles, Co, Tipperary and Kilclogher, Kilbaha, Co. Clare. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. In the wonderful care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Bridget, brothers, sisters, parents-in-law Nora and Paddy Skehan. Deeply regretted by his devoted family, wife Breda (née Skehan), sons Andy, Paul and Eddie, daughters Teresa and Esther, grandchildren Cillian, Ada, Elliot, Oran, Charlie, Marie, Lana, Kian and Maia, daughters-in-law Lorna and Marie, son-in-law Gerard, twin brother Martin and brother Michael (Florida), sisters Teresa and Betty (Australia), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Wednesday 4th February from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at Holycross Abbey on Thursday 5th February at 11am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sr Nano Purcell

Sister Nano Purcell, Presentation Convent, Clondalkin, D22 WF67 and late of Lisdonowly, Moyne, Co Tipperary.

 

The death has occurred of Sr Nano Purcell (1st February 2026) at the age of 96 in the kind care of the devoted staff of Clondalkin Lodge Nursing Home. Sr Nano is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Brigid, her brothers Pat and Tommy and her sister Bridie. Sr Nano was loved and will be missed by her Presentation Community, brother, Fr Sean, CSSR, Limerick and her sister Maura Mulumby, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and great grandniece.

 

Reposing at Brian McElroy’s Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday (5th February). Mass to celebrate Sr Nano’s life will take place on Friday (6th February) at 11.30am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception and St Killian, Clondalkin Village followed by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery arriving for approximately 1pm.
