late of Ballingarry, Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary.

John died on February 3rd 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. He was late of Ballingarry, Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary and was predeceased by his parents, Matthew and Bridget, brother Larry and sisters, Biddy, Mary, Kitty, Joan and Sarah (Sal).

John was loved and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Angela, daughters, Jennie and Kerrie, sons, Matthew and Daniel, daughters-in-law Valerie and Sinéad, son-in-law Gareth, beloved grandchildren, Louise, Katie, JP, Senan and Lochlann, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

John will repose at The Granary (R35 NX30), adjacant to St. Manchan's Church, Boher, on Friday evening (Feb. 6th) from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Saturday morning (Feb. 7th) to St. Manchan's Church, Boher, where his Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am and afterwards John will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The Mater Foundation, Dublin.

Thomas (Tommy) Carroll

Thomas (Tommy) Carroll (Mullingar, Co. Westmeath) February 4th 2026, peacefully at his residence.

 

Predeceased by his parents Mary Carroll (nee McMahon) and John Joe Carroll (formerly of Dundrum, Co. Tipperary).

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife Shirley, children Daniel, Megan, Lucy, Leanne and Daniel, granddaughter Amara, brothers Simon, Declan and Derek, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tommie passed away peacefully in his 93rd year in the presence of his family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Amberley Nursing Home Fermoy.

Beloved husband of the late Mary (May nee Hull), loving father of Mary, Eileen, Sandra, Adrian and Sarah Jane. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, extended family and friends.

 

Rest in peace.

 

Tommie's funeral arrangements will be published tomorrow Thursday.

Predeceased by his parents Mary and Dick Keogh.

 

Deeply regretted by his brothers Christopher, Richard and Danny, his sisters Helen, Pauline, Kathleen and Martina, his brothers in law Chris and Liam, his sisters in law Margaret and Bridie, his aunts Teresa and Annie and his uncle Seamus, also his beloved nieces, nephews, grandnephews, neighbours and friends.

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Sheelagh Quinn (nee O' Shea) , Harrow, Middlesex, London, Shannon, Co. Clare and Birdhill, Co. Tipperary, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick on 4th February 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Martin, father Seán and mother Mary.

Sheelagh will be forever missed by daughters Sara Mai (Flahive), Caitlin (Quinn) and Kerri (Quinlan) , sons in law Mark, Denis and Shane, sister Sharron and brother Ian (London) , her adoring eight grandchildren Sean, Willow, Milo, Harrison , Ellis, Addie, Benny and Archie , nieces and nephews , extended family and friends.

 

May Sheelagh's gentle soul Rest in peace.

 

Sheelagh will repose in Mc Mahon's Funeral Home, Shannon on Friday, 6th February from 6pm to 7:30pm. Arriving for funeral service in Shannon Crematorium on Saturday, 7th February at 11am.
