Martin O' Brien

Martin O' Brien, (Gortamullen Heights, Kenmare, Co Kerry. Formerly of Ballincollig, Co Cork and Silvermines, Co Tipperary). On the 10th of February, 2026, Martin passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the Nurses and Staff of St Joseph's Nursing Home, Kenmare and surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Ena (nee O' Sullivan). Loving dad of Martin, Carmel and Gerard. Adoring grandad of Tara, Aoife, Killian, Niamh, Eoghan, Róisín, Lucy and Abbie. Predeceased by his parents John and Rebecca, his infant twin sister Mary, sister Ann and brothers John and Ted.

Sadly missed and dearly loved by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Rhys, daughters-in-law Ruth and Noramai, sister Ollie, brothers Pat and Mike, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Sean Whelan, Ormond Keep, Nenagh, Co.Tipperary & late of London and Crumlin, Dublin. Following a short Illness Predeceased by his beloved father Mick, mother Rita & brother Finbar. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Roisin, son Liam, Sister Maureen, brothers Mick, George & Seamus. Extended family, relatives, neighbours & friends.

Reposing at Ryans Funeral Home, Nenagh (E45 KN93) this Wednesday from 5 o'c to 6.30 o'c. Followed by private Cremation. Donations in lieu of flowers to Milford Hospice.

Angela Healy
(née Moriarty)

Angela Healy, 36 Assumption Place, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Clomantagh, Barna, Co. Kilkenny, February 9th. 2026, peacefully after a short illness at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Dick and Molly and her brothers and sisters. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken husband Eamon, her adored children Mary, Eileen and Edward, her 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sons-in-law Michael and Vinny, Edward's partner Denise, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Doyle's Funeral Home, Urlingford (Eircode E41 XO38) on Wednesday evening February 11th. from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Removal from her residence on Thursday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock. Cremation takes place afterwards at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork (Eircode P43 DD71) at 2 o'clock. Messages of condolence can be placed on the page provided below. The Healy family would like to take this opportunity to thank most sincerely the doctors, nurses and staff of S.M.U. at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny for their excellent care and support shown to Angela during her illness. They will be forever grateful.

John Purcell

Purcell, John - 5th February 2026 (Portmarnock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Monemore, Emly, Co Tipperary). Peacefully with his loving wife Marie by his side and in the wonderful care of the staff at Tara Winthrop Clinic. Predeceased by his brother Jim. He will be greatly missed by his wife Marie, daughter Sarah, son Paul, Sarah’s partner Ralf, grandchild Vada Rose, sisters Marina Bruton and Mary Condon, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road on Thursday afternoon 12th February from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Friday morning 13th February to the Church of St Anne, Portmarnock arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.

May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

 

 

Reposing at O' Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Wednesday evening (February 11th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Requiem Mass for Martin will take place on Thursday morning (February 12th) at 10.30am in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare which will be live streamed on www.kenmareparish.ie followed by burial in Holy Cross New Cemetery, Kenmare.
